Uses flights (paddles / scrapers) welded to the chain at regular intervals to push or drag bulk material along a trough. Suitable for horizontal and slightly inclined transport of coal, clinker, sand, and minerals. Simple, robust construction.
Material is conveyed as a solid mass or plug — the chain moves through the material creating a continuous en-masse flow. Dust-tight, gentle on material, suitable for grains, powders, and fine bulk solids. Enclosed construction prevents contamination.
Specifically designed for bottom ash and fly ash handling in thermal power plants. Water-cooled trough construction, hardened chain, abrasion-resistant trough liners. Handles hot ash at temperatures up to 200°C continuously.
